I can’t believe more hotels don’t sign on to the program. Airport hotels are ideal for your business model.I liked the concept, I received the contract. Found that I can opt out of the agreement at any time, just honor existing reservations. I wanted to be the first in my market (Boston) to be on the website. I talked with the Front Office Manager and Executive Housekeeper to set the SOP for this business, ensuring that the room is cleaned and put back in service after use by HotelsByDay client the same day. Signed the contract the same day. Never had a problem.Initially concerned about what kind of guest would book this type of reservation. Found that almost all are corporate travelers in town for a same day meeting. Many are repeat guests who are familiar with the website.Annualized revenue is expected to be about $20,000 with zero displacement.

Hotels By Day is working well for us, it is adding to the bottom line which is nice at the end of the month. Operationally I have a fantastic staff for housekeeping so it is not much of a burden to them. Quality of guests is also better than anticipated for us. We have a decent rate and a decent offer for them so we are happy in our partnership.

The app was easy to use. I understand that the service is somewhat new but I wish there was more available hotels in my location. Once you get more hotels, I’m sure everyone will use your app. It’s pretty neat.

I was excited to see you on Shark Tank! Sorry that the sharks didn’t really grasp what you were trying to do. Me as a travel agent, am truly grateful for this site.I mainly book pilots for the HOTELS BY DAY as they have a mandatory rest period and find it very hard to find a hotel willing to book day rooms so most of the time we have to book for 2 nights.
