The right partnerships pave the way to success.

Every dream starts with a concept. In February, 2015, Hotels By Day launched our dream platform with a concept that brings people together and takes the panic out of travel. Our company was born out of necessity. We saw the need for a shift in hospitality trends. You see, our team is from all over the world and many of us travel constantly. We’ve missed flights and been stranded. We’ve arrived early at both tiny, and tony hotels alike, to be turned away for hours awaiting check in times. So, we pioneered the way people can make the most of visiting far off lands and nearby towns. Hotels By Day and FlexBook are web-based platforms that create flexible hotel booking with customizable check in and check out times. It also allows visitors to book only the time that they want to use. Our service goes by many names: daycation, day use hotels, intraday stay hotels, relax hotels, half day stay hotels, and so on.

We partner with hotels across the globe to accommodate as many folks as possible. But our primary partnerships go beyond the hotel industry. Companies who share our vision and mission to create and navigate a more user-friendly technological world in which to thrive. And we couldn’t do it without them. We thank each of the following organizations for sharing our dream of making the world a better place and the wherewithal to make it happen.

In The Tank

On February 17, Hotels By Day was on the popular television show, Shark Tank (season 8, episode 17). As viewers know, presentation is everything when meeting the sharks, and we couldn’t have been prouder than to have had set furnishings that conveyed quality and au courant style. We felt empowered by the creations from our partner, Modloft.

Modloft makes chic modern and contemporary furniture available to everyone. The web-based company with high-end products makes people feel special and more connected to their surroundings through beauty and detail. Thank you Modloft for marrying complex design elements with simple elegance, something we admire and aspire towards ourselves.

Partners leading the pack

Being ahead of the curve is something all our partners have in common. Our partner Precious 7, knows a thing or two about that. A fashion forward, progressive website featuring emerging artists and designers, they bring the underground to the forefront. Keeping abreast of what the new movers and shakers are sharing keeps us up-to-the-minute on where trends are heading. Every industry interested in growth needs to stay one step ahead. Thank you Precious 7 for leading the way.

Unbound is everything. This women’s lifestyle company mixes beauty and sexuality within a website full of humor. We can’t thank them enough for their shopping selection made even more entertaining by their online magazine. They up the ante with 50 Shades of Stay for our customers looking to explore their wild sides.

Get a massage, practice yoga, do Pilates or brush-up on mindfulness training in the comfort of your own home or dayuse hotel. No one was ever sorry they did too much yoga and we can’t get enough of their convenience of use, and the opportunity to order wellness on demand.

A desk of one’s own & then some

Every startup needs a leg-up when just starting out. We are so pleased to have found such an engaging and creativity surging environment to work in as Knotel. With over a dozen locations in New York City and counting, we never looked forward to coming to work as much as we have now thanks to them. Beyond access to workstations, conference rooms and printers, there are perks like complimentary fresh fruit and french press coffee. They even host frequent networking events that do something we love – bring people together. They’ve helped boost our productivity while creating a collegial workspace.

Thanks to all our partners.

While we’re thrilled to have the extra exposure from being featured on Shark Tank, we are even more thrilled to have the above mentioned seven organizations as our partners. Our partners support us, inspire us, and their insights and expertise enable us to realize, and, see beyond our dreams. Thank you for believing in us and being part of the Hotels By Day extended family!

Yannis Moati

Founder at HotelsByDay
Yannis has a rich background of 15 years in travel, from guiding tours in Europe at a young age, to co-founding an exotic travel agency, and then directing a New York-based global tour operator company. Throughout his professional life, for both his clients and personal travels, Yannis had to always pull strings to get a more personalized hotel check-in or check-out times. Frustration turned to illumination, witnessing first-hand the important customer behavioral shifts of the ‘on-demand’ economy: something could be done in boosting hotel revenues by selling uncommitted inventory by day.
